Extrapacker is a tool to plan and visualise the loading of trucks and trailers. The basic app is free to use. Certain features (export, print, import and saving projects) require an account, which includes a free 7-day trial. Continued full access after the trial requires a paid licence (see below).
Before buying, you can use Extrapacker during a free 7-day trial period, so you can fully evaluate the service before you pay.
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital services. These terms are available to read via the link shown at checkout before you confirm. By completing the purchase you expressly request that your paid access be made available immediately and you agree that, once you activate the licence code we email you, the digital content has been supplied and your right of withdrawal no longer applies. From the moment you activate your code, the licence is non-refundable.
The truckpacks you create remain yours. You grant us permission only to store them so we can provide the service. We claim no ownership of your data.
Extrapacker calculates theoretical values from real-world figures. The dimensions, tare weights, deck heights and load limits in the built-in catalogue are typical for a type. They are not measurements of the specific trailer or container in front of you. The plate on your own equipment and the documents that come with it always take precedence, and they can differ by centimetres and by hundreds of kilograms from a catalogue value — the same container type has been rated at 24,000 kg and at 32,500 kg depending on its build year.
There will always be small differences between a calculation and reality. Suspension settles under load, cargo shifts in transit, floors and tyres vary between manufacturers and model years, and a figure that is right for one build of a trailer can be out for the next. Use the results conservatively and leave margin.
Extrapacker is a tool for trying out a load before you build it. It is not a scientific or engineering instrument, it certifies nothing, and it does not replace a weighbridge, the documents for your vehicle, or the judgement of the person doing the loading. Axle loads, centre of gravity and mass figures are indications to plan with — not proof that a load is legal or safe. Where a road limit, a permit, or an operator's own rule applies, that rule governs, and it is often stricter than what the vehicle itself could carry.
Knowing the law is your responsibility. It is your duty as the user to know which rules apply to your load, your vehicle and your route, to apply them, and to check them yourself. Weight and dimension limits differ by country, by road class and by permit; they are amended over time; and the app does not track them for you. The EU and US limits built into Extrapacker are a planning aid and an indication only — they are not a legal reference, they are not kept current as one, and they cannot cover local rules, national exceptions, permit conditions, or the requirements of the operator, the shipper or the authorities along your route. Verify the applicable legislation before the load leaves.
You remain responsible for the load you actually build.
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, do not attempt to bypass security, and do not harm the service or other users.
We aim to keep the service available and working correctly, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that data will never be lost. Please keep your own copies of important plans via the export function.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Extravisual Services BV is not liable for indirect or consequential damage or loss of profit arising from use of the app. This includes decisions taken on the basis of a calculated result — see Calculations and accuracy above.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law. In particular, our statutory obligation to provide a paid service that conforms to the contract, and our liability for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, cannot be excluded.
These terms and the service may change. For material changes affecting an active paid licence, we will inform you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Belgian law applies; disputes fall under the competent courts in Belgium. Consumers may also contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst, consumentenombudsdienst.be). Questions: contact@extrapacker.com.
