Privacy policy

This policy explains how Extravisual Services BV processes personal data within the Extrapacker web app.

What data

• Account: your email, your name and your password. The password is stored encrypted (hashed) — we never see or store your password in readable form. Optional: a profile photo you upload yourself, and your country (derived automatically from your IP address at registration).
• Your projects & libraries: the truckpacks and libraries you save are stored under your account so you can reopen them.
• Payment & billing: when you buy a licence, we process the data needed to take payment and issue a valid invoice (e.g. name, email and billing address). Your payment details are handled by our payment provider Mollie — we do not store full card numbers.
• Session cookie: one technical cookie to keep you signed in.
• Server logs (technical): IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser may be logged for security and operation.

Purpose & legal basis

• Providing your account and storing your projects: performance of the contract (the service you request).
• Taking payment for a licence: performance of the contract.
• Issuing and keeping invoices: compliance with a legal obligation (accounting law).
• Security and correct operation (server logs, abuse prevention): legitimate interest.

Where & retention

• Your account data and projects are stored on our own server at our EU hosting provider.
• Account and projects are kept as long as your account exists. If you delete a project or your account, that data is removed.
• Invoices and related billing data are kept for 7 years, as required by Belgian accounting law, even after you delete your account.
• Server logs are retained for a limited time per the hosting provider.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of processors that act on our instructions: our EU hosting provider (technical logs and storage) and our payment provider Mollie B.V. (Keizersgracht 313, 1016 EE Amsterdam, The Netherlands) to process your payment. There are no third-party advertising or tracking services.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object. You can delete your projects and your account yourself at any time from the User panel (note that invoices are retained for the legal period above). For requests: contact@extrapacker.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
